Verde Farms Teriyaki Beef & Broccoli

Verde Farms Teriyaki Beef & Broccoli

This post is a paid partnership with Verde Farms. As always, all opinions are our own.

If you’re like us, you just live a healthier lifestyle in the warmer months. I’ve committed to running regularly, more fresh produce is arriving at the Farmer’s Markets, and we’ve our toddler has now adjusted to the time change so we are all sleeping even better than we were a few weeks ago. As we step into this welcomed new season, we find it equally important that what’s on our plate reflects our healthy lifestyle. Lucky for us, Verde Farms also promotes healthy living by providing clean beef products.

Broccoli in a Bowl

We introduced you to Verde Farms a few weeks ago and we are happy to continue our partnership with them. They provide 100% grass-fed, pasture-raised beef in the gaucho tradition. That means they “respect the animals… honor the land… value family, simplicity, and integrity.” These are all values we can support.

Verde in Schnucks

Verde products are available here in St. Louis at Schnucks stores. Their Simply! Sous Vide line is handy for busy nights when we don’t have time to cook extensive meals but still want a healthy, clean meal we feel good about sitting down and eating together.

Simply! Sear It Teriyaki Beef Steak Strips

What we like most about the Simply! line is just that: they are simple. In less than seven minutes, we can have perfectly cooked beef ready to accompany a weeknight meal.

We used Teriyaki Beef Steak Strips to create a Teriyaki Beef & Broccoli recipe that we’re excited to share with you! Our whole family joined the “clean plate club” after this one. First, we roasted broccoli on a sheet pan in our oven.

Roasted Broccoli

Next, we seared the Verde Farms Teriyaki Beef Steak Strips. Since they are already cooked sous vide, they took less than seven minutes to prepare. This particular product comes with a good amount of sauce you can drizzle over your whole plate once cooked.

Cook rice as you normally do. We usually just use the frozen jasmine rice from Trader Joe’s- it takes three minutes to microwave and is delicious. Plate the rice and add the roasted broccoli and beef steak strips. Top with the sauce you’ve heated from the beef and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
